The Protege DIN Rail Module Network repeater is designed to extend the network capabilities of the Protege system, an advanced technology security product providing seamless and powerful integration of access, security and building automation. The module network repeater is added to the system via the RS-485 or Ethernet and provides optical isolation between up to three branches of the module network, easing power requirements.

The Protege Ethernet 2 Reader Expander provides an Ethernet based interface of up to 4x reader inputs and 2x locking device Outputs to the Protege integrated access control, security and building automation system, an advanced technology security product providing seamless and powerful integration. The Protege Ethernet 2 Reader Expander provides extensive hardware advancements that provide flexible access control, area control and alarm monitoring.

- Advanced communication over Ethernet for both this device and any connected RS-485 devices
- Connect 2x readers using the independent reader inputs or use the 2 reader operation to connect 4x readers providing dual entry and exit door connection
- Provision to control up to 3x Outputs per reader input with predefined configurations for instant connection (red LED, green LED and buzzer control)
- Support for intelligent reader tamper operation the system will monitor the reader for reader keep-alive transmissions using the programmed protocol
- Data received display indicates a valid decode of the format on the DATA indicator and the reader number the information was received (2 reader mode)

The Protege DIN Rail 4A Intelligent Power Supply provides 12VDC power ideal for running security, access control or automation devices along with large numbers of Protege network powered modules in the same installation. The Protege DIN Rail 4A Intelligent Power Supply is designed for use with Industry Standard DIN Rail Mounting.

- Mains input ideal for reducing complexity in set up and ready deployment of module
- 12VDC output voltage 4 Amps continuous output current
- 2 Form B relay outputs that can be used either as PGMs whilst the module is online within the Protege System, or as additional Status Outputs for backup battery failure/disconnection and AC failure monitoring, when the module is offline/standalone
